The programme spans either nine or eighteen weeks, with one session per week complemented by skills coaching and family support outside of sessions. Participants work through modules that cover Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness, with mindfulness integrated throughout.
All sessions are delivered via Zoom, with supporting material supplied via email. Each program consists of eight participants and is facilitated by two highly skilled and experienced therapists.
We offer two comprehensive programs that include weekly supporting materials, out-of-session skills coaching, and access to both a members-only area on our website and a Facebook skills discussion group.
Before commencing on the course, all group members will be required to undertake an initial 1:1 assessment session, followed by a 1:1 Pre-Commitment session. Both sessions are chargeable.
DBT is a challenging and significant undertaking, not to be entered lightly. Before enrolling on to the main programme we will undertake a one-to-one assessment to ascertain how your mental health concerns are causing a problem in living.
This course is payable in 3 instalments. To book a place or find out more, please contact our therapy team.
